“Be a lamp or a lifeboat or a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal. Walk out of your house like a shepherd.”   Rumi

From the book:

Full-spectrum living involves active intent.  In fact, intention is a form of love. Love as intention. Love as command, not request. You are steering the ship, and you command with intention. Love as intention.

You can set micro intentions for your days, but it is wise for you to set an overall intention for your life at this time. Take it to the highest level that feels real for you right now. I suggest reaching for a very powerful archetypal energy and merging it with what you presently have available in your awareness. For example, you can set the intention to tap into the Way-Shower Archetype. (Variations would be Sage, Wise Man or Woman, Elder.) You can decide that every time you lose your way, you show a path to other beings who feel lost and attribute the highest level of intention to everything that unfolds.

Intention is the meaning you give to the unfolding of your life.  It is entirely subjective, and there is no inherent meaning other than what you give to it. Meaning becomes your intentional perception, as well as a vibrational experience in the body. Intention helps you co-create without having to focus on a particular outcome. When you set your intention high, you raise your vibration and adopt a wider view, and possibilities you’d never imagined emerge.

Remember that since we are made up of energy and the level at which we are vibrating influences outcome, to make a change we would need to shift the inner vibration, which arises from our emotions. The emotions you experience throughout a given day are the energy level at which you are vibrating. In order to create prosperity, love, happiness, or anything in your outer world, you must feel your way to the higher emotional vibration.

A true master can choose the one point that will create the shift.  It is where the intention also benefits others!

Intention has nothing to do with control and everything to do with command. You deliberately attribute higher meanings to the activities you engage in every day. Some examples are:

“With every bite I eat, I become a stronger vessel for Spirit and an agent of gratitude on the planet.”

“With every dollar I spend, I gratefully contribute to the free flowing of infinite prosperity on the planet.”

“With every child I teach, I feel the joy of becoming a force for the full awakening of humanity.”

“With every bit of darkness I face in myself, I courageously clear the path for others to know their light.”

This sets intention to contribute to outcomes from the highest aspect of your Divine self. It allows you to move from the cave of the heart to the mountain of the mind, and is the very highest view you can take of your life.  When you look from there, all the pieces begin to fall into place. From there other struggling souls will catch your light.
